Huffy Bicycle with gas engine
Safety? who needs safety when you can slap a chinese made 50cc engine on a Huffy bicycle? Why, you ask? Why not?
Just a strange project that has caused me some head aches. The bolts holding the muffler melted off inside the engine manifold, causing me to drill new holes and tap them out. The throttle cable started falling apart. The carburator is never quite right. And I took a nasty crash on this bike in 2016
Oh yeah, that crash... I was riding on the bike path around Philadelpia's Northeast Airport, doing close to 30mph. I veered off onto the grass and the front wheel got caught in a rut. I go flying off and skid for 60-70 feet on my right arm. Massive road rash from my right sholder down to my right wrist. Fun times, and I got the scars to prove it!
